    From June 30 to September 1, 2019 the Kunstverein Münsterland in Coesfeld is showing a solo exhibition by DIRK SALZ . The exhibition will be an overview show with works from the series "deep dives", "Fadings", "fragmented layers" and others.

    DIRK SALZ in the Kunstpalast Düsseldorf

    In addition, DIRK SALZ is represented with a special work from his series "Uniparts" in the exhibition "DIE GROSSE Kunstausstellung NRW" at KUNSTPALAST DÜSSELDORF. The exhibition will be opened in the Kunstpalast on June 29th at 6pm and will be on display until the 4th of August.

  • DIRK SALZ at Städtische Galerie Iserlohn, Germany

    DIRK SALZ is represented in the group exhibition "Sichtweiten" ("Visibility") in the Städtische Galerie Iserlohn. The exhibition, a cooperation of the Städtische Galerie Iserlohn with the Westdeutscher Künstlerbund e.V. (West German Artists Association) and the Karl-Ernst-Osthaus Museum, Hagen is on display from 1.6. - 14.7.2019. It is the 34th annual exhibition of the Westdeutscher Künstlerbund (West German Artists Association), in which Dirk Salz will show a special work from the series of his round "Fadings".

    The exhibition in Iserlohn will be opened on June 1st at 6:30 pm.

  • GIL SHACHAR in Cape Town, AFRICA

    GIL SHACHAR shows his successful project "The Cast Whale Project" in South Africa. It is the artists most recent art project, for which he successfully sculpted a whale stranded lifeless on South Africas coast. As part of the exhibition "The Cast Whale" in Salt River, Cape Town, the finished work will be presented to the public for the first time. The exhibition can be seen in Cape Town until Sunday, May 26th. Further exhibition venues will follow.

    ANETT STUTH and CHRISTOF KLUTE are represented in the group exhibition "Visionen der Moderne heute (Visions of Modernity Today)" at the Museum für Photographie Braunschweig from April 13 to June 30. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus, the exhibition is dedicated to the topic of Bauhaus architecture within contemporary artistic photography and will be opened on April 12 at 7pm.

  • STEPHAN BALKENHOL in Kassel

    From 6 April - 14 July, 2019 STEPHAN BALKENHOL can be seen with the exhibition "deadline" in the Museum of Sepulchral Culture in Kassel. In his artistic work Balkenhol has already created many sculptures, reliefs and prints in which he deals with death in a symbolic way. In Kassel and in cooperation with the museum, the artist shows old and new works on this topic. It is Balkenhols first thematic museum exhibition in his adopted home of Kassel.

    You are cordially invited to the opening of the exhibtion on Friday, 5 April 2019, at 7.30 pm. A scientific catalog is published, which is available in the museum.

  • STEPHAN BALKENHOL in Sneek/Niederlande

    STEPHAN BALKENHOL hat für die friesische Stadt Sneek in den Niederlanden die Arbeit "Fortunas Brunnen" realisiert. Es ist eine von elf Brunnen-Arbeiten, die von renommierten internationalen Künstlern entworfen und in den historischen Zentren der Städte der niederländischen Provinz Friesland installiert worden sind. Hintergrund: Leeuwarden-Friesland ist in diesem Jahr Kulturhauptstadt Europas und das Projekt 11Fountains soll die Städte dieser Provinz symbolisch miteinander verbinden. Damit bekommt Friesland eine neue Kunstroute, die schon jetzt als neues kulturelles Erbe gilt. Balknehols Arbeit "Fortunas Brunnen", in der viele den als Bronze-Edition bekannten "Mann mit Füllhorn" von Balkenhol wiedererkennen werden, dreht sich nun auf der Gracht vor dem historischen Wassertor in Bolsward/Sneek und soll auch nach dem Kulturjahr dort aufgestellt bleiben.
