Keiji Uematsu
KEIJI UEMATSU is a conceptual artist. Over a nearly five-decade career he has developed a complete work that consistently strives to make the invisible relationship between objects and the spaces that surround them visible. The idea of focusing attention on the natural forces of gravity, tension and material attraction, be it through photography, drawing or sculptural installation, underpins his entire practice. Today the international influence of Uematsu is far-reaching thanks to his innovative, conceptual approach and global reach.
